Bell Mansion

The Bell Mansion is a 200 year old historical building resting on the Juniata River in the quaint little town of Bellwood, PA. We are conveniently located just one mile off of I-99 between Altoona and State College, PA. You will find the locals to be very warm, friendly and proud of all the history their town has to offer.

The Georgian architecture of the building, with all its charm, will create beautiful photographic memories for you and your guests to enjoy for a lifetime both inside and out. Your photographer will love the versatility of photo ops from the beautiful staircase to the Juniata river, chapel and rustically elegant ballroom.

Entering the Mansion, you will instantly be drawn to the beauty of the large foyer and the original brick hallway.

The Bell Mansion has recently been updated with air conditioning, electricity, elevator and kitchen. We take great pride in preserving the character of the Mansion while keeping you comfortable.

We are open “year round” to accommodate all your needs. Our venue is completely handicap accessible to accommodate anyone with special needs.

The venue rental includes tables, chairs, chapel and kitchen. The refrigeration will be turned on and the heat/air will be set for your comfort.

The Georgian Ballroom seats 100 guests, has a bar, special lighting and lots of room for dancing.

The Mary Ann Chapel has retained its beauty and is a great place to say “I do.”

The Millwright Room is used as the gentleman’s changing room for weddings. This room has an operating fireplace.

The Juniata would have been the formal room in the 1800’s or gentlemen’s cigar room because it was facing the Juniata river. This room has an operating fireplace.

All of the above rooms are located on the first floor of the Bell Mansion, including men’s /ladies bathrooms and kitchen. You may provide your own food or select the caterer of your choice. We will be happy to recommend several caterer’s for your consideration during your showing.

The Bell Mansion is a BYOB venue. We do not have a liquor license. You may bring whatever you wish to responsibly serve your guests.
